Loveland Baseball
It’s officially time for our Tigers to take to the diamond at the Reds High School Showcase. And it was a thrilling first win for our baseball team right out of the gate. They took down Campbell County 7-3 on Saturday after a walk-off grand slam from Drew Oerther in extra innings. He drove in all of the Tigers runs, had two home runs, and three hits overall as he earned MVP of the showcase. Owen Liu also had a great opener going 3-for-4 with a double.
On the mound, Nathan Ryan anchored the back end of the game, pitching 3.1 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts to earn the win.

Loveland Volleyball
The boy's volleyball team costed into the sun of spring break boasting a perfect record and a nine-game winning streak. Last Thursday they blanked the Kings Knights 3-0. Gavin McWaters led the Tigers attack with 11 kills and on defense had 11 digs. He is now second in the ECC in kills with 107.
James Dickman added 8 kills to the tally and is fifth in the conference in that department, while Miles Ewald and Andrew Dostal recorded 18 and 14 assists respectively. Dostal is also the conference leader in assists with 140. On the defensive end, Landon Balmos-Ruddock anchored the back row with 13 digs.

The Tigers are lightning up the stat sheet in the ECC and look ready to continue their dominance on the other side of the break. Their next game will be against Lakota East (who is at the top of the Greater Miami Conference) before a key matchup against fellow conference unbeaten Milford on April 11.
Boy’s Lacrosse
The volleyball squad isn’t the only one with an unblemished record as the weather warms. Boy’s lacrosse took down the mighty Elder Panthers, 14-4 behind Adam King who led the scoring with 4 goals and 2 assists along with Rocco Filia who had 4 goals of his own. They were down 4-1 early on but scored 13 straight to run away with the game.

Luke Daugherty came away with a hat trick of his own while Will Weikert stood tall in the net with 12 saves to hold Elder to just 4 goals. Filia is second tied for the conference lead with 18 goals while Adam King is second in the ECC in assists with 9.
Girl’s lacrosse is 1-1 on the season with a recent win over Anderson, 14-7. They will take on Little Miami on April 2nd looking to get over .500 on the year.
