It was rivalry week for Loveland Basketball as they took on Kings in a pair of spirited matchups. Loveland bowling continued its winning ways while our wrestlers took to the mats at a dual tournament. And as always, Elizabeth Madison just keeps pinning opponents every time out.

The Boys team reversed course this week and broke their five game losing streak with an impressive 55-40 win over Kings on Friday.
Things got a bit heated on the court, not surprising for a rivalry game, but the Tigers came out on top. They shot an efficient 47 percent from the field, paced by Chase Martin who had 21 points and six boards. Blake Carrigan pitched in with 13 in the win. With the win Loveland moves to 10-9 (7-7) on the year.
The Girls went 2-1 on the week, in a jam packed schedule of games. They downed Kings 59-45, and then fell to Walnut Hills 43-34 on Thursday. Friday night saw them get back on track with a 64-35 blowout win against Harrison. Bella Rogers nearly had back to back double doubles against Kings and Walnut Hills, totaling 31 points and 16 boards across both contests.

This past week the Boys squad trounced Little Miami 2732 to 2035. Tyler Schwinn led the team with the highest series of 474 pins, posting games of 249 and 225 for an impressive 237.0 average. Miles Ewald tossed the team-high single-game score of 250 in his second round as a part of his own 437 series.
The Boys improved to 10-3 (6-2) on the year. They are third in the ECC. Just two more matches remain before the conference tournament and then postseason play.
The Girls team couldn’t pick up their first win of the year despite a great effort. Little Miami downed them 2001-1356. Marisa Whalen led the Tigers with a team-high series of 286. In another strong performance, Jocelyn French finished with a 264 series.

This weekend it was the Lakota East Duals for the Boys team. Overall they went 3-2, but there were some great individual efforts there. Tristan Neal and Eric Earl both went undefeated at 5-0. Jerome Davis, Will Hossenlopp, Jake Thompson, and Shane Murray all went 4-1. Randy Madison also went 2-1.
On the Girls side, Elizabeth Madison’s dominant run continued. She went 5-0 this weekend with four pins while competing at the Williamsburg Invite. Fellow Tiger Cami Martinez also placed fifth.
