Elizabeth Madison Pins Down Grand Marshal Role!

The Loveland Athletic Boosters 2026 Homecoming Parade returns to the roads of Loveland on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate students, athletes, alumni, and the community.

The parade is fun for all ages and overflowing with candy. Adults and children are encouraged to line the streets for this annual Loveland tradition.

Parade Route

The parade begins at the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department Health and Wellness Center, 227 E. Loveland Ave., and continues through Downtown Loveland. The parade turns onRich Road and ends at Loveland High School (LHS). (Note: Loveland Middle School and Loveland youth program participants will exit the parade route at Phillips Park.)

Please expect increased traffic and road closures as the start of the parade nears

Parade Staging

Buses will take high school parade participants from LHS totheir staging location at the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department Health and Wellness Center.

Middle school and youth program parade participants will use the Children’s Meeting House Montessori School, 927 O’Bannonville Rd., as well as The Grail, 931 O’BannonvilleRd., for staging. Buses will be transporting these groups from Phillips Park to their staging areas.

Only parade vehicles may park at the staging lots, and only parade vehicles may enter the staging lots after 4 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Grand Marshal: Elizabeth Madison

Loveland wrestling trailblazer Elizabeth Madison is the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade.

Madison, a 2026 LHS graduate, overcame significant knee and elbow injuries while becoming one of the most dominant athletes in Loveland history. A leader on the school’s first girls wrestling team, she won three state titles en route to a 143-2 career record with 130 pins.

A three-time captain for the wrestling program, Madison is also a three-time Fargo Junior Nationals All-American. She is this year’s recipient of the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association’s Toccara Montgomery Award, which honors the most outstanding female wrestler of the season.

Madison is LHS’s first four-time state wrestling qualifier, four-time district wrestling champion, and four-time state wrestling finalist.

Elizabeth, daughter of Gary and Teresa Madison of Loveland, is studying nursing and continuing her wrestling career at the University of Mount Union.
