Loveland High School Fall Sports Enter Final Stretch of 2026 Season

Tigers have several weeks of regular-season competition remaining before postseason play begins

The fall sports season is entering its final stretch at Loveland High School, with the Tigers continuing competition across the football field, soccer pitch, volleyball court and cross-country courses. With October approaching, several Loveland teams still have important regular-season contests ahead as they work toward the postseason.

The Loveland football team has several games remaining on its schedule, including home games against Winton Woods on Oct. 2 and Anderson on Oct. 23. The Tigers also travel to Little Miami on Oct. 9 and West Clermont on Oct. 16.

The football team enters the final weeks following a 49-42 victory over Walnut Hills on Sept. 25.

The boys soccer team also has a busy October ahead. The Tigers are scheduled to host Kings on Oct. 1, Miamisburg on Oct. 3, Fairfield on Oct. 5 and Winton Woods on Oct. 15. The team will also travel to Turpin, Springboro and Milford later in the month.

The girls soccer team has regular-season games scheduled against Kings, Turpin, Mt. Notre Dame, Winton Woods, Ursuline Academy and Milford between Sept. 29 and Oct. 20.

The Loveland girls volleyball team also has a number of regular-season matches remaining. Upcoming matches include home contests against Anderson on Sept. 29 and Little Miami on Oct. 1. The Tigers then travel to Lakota East and West Clermont before visiting Walnut Hills on Oct. 8. Loveland will close its listed regular-season schedule with home and road matches against Lebanon and Kings.

For Loveland's cross-country teams, October brings the beginning of the postseason push. The girls and boys cross-country schedule includes meets at Ross on Oct. 3 and Eaton on Oct. 10, followed by the ECC Championship on Oct. 17. The Tigers are then scheduled to compete in OHSAA district meets on Oct. 22 and Oct. 24. Runners advancing beyond districts are scheduled to compete at the regional meet at Troy High School on Oct. 31, with the OHSAA State Meet scheduled for Nov. 7th at Fortress Obetz.

For fans, the final weeks of the fall season provide plenty of opportunities to support Loveland athletes before the winter sports calendar arrives.
