Two updates. One short term, the other is permanent.

Short term, the bridge over the O’Bannon Creek on Route 48 will be closed AFTER July 4^th for an estimated 7 days.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, District 8, current signage has been prematurely posted. Once completed, the bridge will have a new concrete overlay and modified asphalt expansion joints. Detours will be Butterworth Road and northward on Route 48.

On a more permanent note, on May 19th, after an hour discussion and input from the community, the Deerfield Township Trustees approved placement of a 4 way stop, with overhead flashing red lights, at the intersection of Rich and Davis Roads.
