Patriotic Concert and Outdoor Movie Night at Miami Township Civic Center

Families looking for a fun way to spend a summer evening are invited to the Miami Township Civic Center on Friday, July 31, for a celebration of music, patriotism, and family entertainment as part of the nation's America 250 celebration.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a free patriotic concert by the Sycamore Community Band, a full symphonic ensemble made up of talented musicians from throughout the region. Following the concert, attendees are invited to stay for Movie Night in the Park(ing) Lot, featuring Disney's Miracle. The inspirational film tells the true story of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team's legendary "Miracle on Ice" victory over the heavily favored Soviet Union, making it a fitting selection as communities across the country commemorate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.
