Former Loveland City Council member Kent Blair, a longtime advocate for our town- focusing on fiscal responsibility, the environment, and community service- has passed away.
Blair served on Loveland City Council from 2018 through 2023, where he became known for his focus on financial matters and his commitment to the city’s long-term success. Colleagues relied on his congenial disposition, expertise, and measured approach to decision-making.
Although he chose not to seek another term on council, Blair remained active in civic affairs. He continued serving the community through his work on the Community Improvement Corporation and the Finance Commission, contributing his knowledge and experience to local initiatives.
Those who knew Blair say his impact extended beyond public service. He was respected not only for his work on behalf of the city but also for his generosity, friendship, and dedication to the community he called home.
Blair’s passing is a loss for Loveland, where his years of service and commitment to public life left a lasting mark. He is survived by family and friends who remember him as a devoted family man and a passionate supporter of his community.
