Loveland High School Earns “Best Schools” Recognition

Loveland High School has been recognized among the best high schools in Ohio, earning a spot in the top 7% statewide in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings.According to rankings released this week, Loveland High School placed No. 13 in the Cincinnati metropolitan area and No. 46 among high schools across Ohio.

The recognition comes as part of U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best High Schools” rankings, which evaluate schools based on a range of academic factors, including student performance in math, reading and science, as well as participation and performance in Advanced Placement (AP) examinations.

Loveland High School received a 92.98 score on the U.S. News “Best Schools” scorecard.

Loveland City School District Superintendent Mike Broadwater credited the achievement to the combined efforts of students, families and staff.

“Thank you to our hard-working students, supportive families, and outstanding staff for putting in the effort every day,” Broadwater said. “Recognition as one of the ‘Best Schools’ in the country is confirmation that we are keeping our commitment to student success and preparing students for the future.”

The U.S. News rankings are designed to provide families with a way to compare high schools based on academic achievement and college-readiness measures.

Broadwater said the district continues to look for ways to expand opportunities for students while encouraging them to reach their potential.

“Each year we work to improve the opportunities we provide to our students and encourage them to perform at their best,” Broadwater said. “No one data point tells the whole story of a school district’s success, but this recognition confirms what we already know — that Loveland High School is one of the best.”

The No. 46 ranking places Loveland High School among the highest-performing high schools in Ohio and highlights the district’s continued emphasis on academic achievement and preparing students for life after graduation.
