Pickleball’s popularity doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, and a new Loveland business is leaning into why people love the game in the first place — flexibility, fun, and playing on your own terms.

The Pickle Mill, created by owners Josh Heller and Ted Dahmus, is a private, reservation-only pickleball facility designed to give players full control over their experience. Instead of crowded courts and waiting your turn, players reserve the space, show up, and play.

Loveland already has a strong pickleball scene, with public courts available at McCoy Park and Lever Park, where players can drop in and enjoy the game for free. The Pickle Mill isn’t meant to replace those community courts — it offers something different. This is a private, indoor experience for players who want guaranteed court time, privacy, and a more relaxed, social atmosphere.

“The Pickle Mill was built to give players complete control over their experience,” the owners shared. “You reserve the space, show up, and play — no crowds, no waiting.”

As one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, pickleball attracts everyone from competitive players to casual groups of friends. Heller and Dahmus wanted to create a space that works for both.

“The Pickle Mill is about making pickleball more accessible and more enjoyable,” they said. “Whether you’re training seriously or just playing with friends, having a private space completely changes the experience.”

When players step off the court, the experience continues. The facility includes a lounge area with seating, big-screen TVs, music control, a pool table, and a dart board — giving it a luxury clubhouse feel. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, and the space can accommodate gatherings of up to 24 people.

The Pickle Mill officially opened at the end of December and is now fully open and ready for reservations. Getting started is simple. Players sign up at thepicklemill.com, create an account, sign a digital waiver, and reserve a time slot. After booking, guests receive a secure entry code for access during their reservation.

The Pickle Mill is already making its mark as a fresh, locally owned business — and a new option for Loveland pickleball players looking for something a little more private and elevated.

The Pickle Mill is located at 9475 Loveland - Madeira Rd. 45242
