The Loveland Daily’s ‘Best of Loveland Awards’ Are Here — And Nominations Are Open

Loveland Daily News is excited to introduce the 2026 Best of Loveland Awards, a new community-wide celebration recognizing the businesses, restaurants, places and experiences that help make Loveland such a great place to live.

The idea behind the awards is simple: let the Loveland community decide what truly represents the Best of Loveland across a wide range of unique categories.

At the heart of the Best of Loveland Awards is the voice of our community. The people who eat the meals, enjoy the drinks, visit the businesses and experience everything Loveland has to offer are the ones who know these places best.

That’s why both nominations and final voting are being placed in the hands of the community.

You nominate. You vote. You help decide the Best of Loveland.

How It Works

The Best of Loveland Awards will take place in two main stages.

Nominations — Now Through September 30

Throughout the nomination period, the community is invited to nominate their favorites in each Best of Loveland category.

You don’t have to nominate someone in every category. Each person may submit nominations in up to five categories. If there’s a Loveland business or place you believe deserves recognition, this is your chance to make sure they’re considered.

To be eligible, a business must have a Loveland, Ohio mailing address. It does not have to be located within the official Loveland city limits.

After nominations close, the Best of Loveland Awards Committee will review the community’s nominations and select four finalists in each category. The committee’s role is to help narrow the field — not to choose the winners.

Final Voting — This Fall

Once the four finalists in each category are announced, the decision goes back to the community.

We want a Best of Loveland award to mean something special. The winners should reflect the experiences of the people who live here, eat here, shop here and support these businesses every day.

When a business is named Best of Loveland, we want them to be able to proudly say that recognition came directly from the community they serve.

Winners will be announced later this fall and recognized by The Loveland Daily.

Celebrating What Makes Loveland Special

Ultimately, the Best of Loveland Awards are about more than choosing winners.

They’re about discovering local favorites, recognizing businesses that are doing things well and celebrating the restaurants, shops, gathering places and experiences that give Loveland its character.

And the entire process begins with you.
