LIFE Empty Bowls Event is Saturday, Sept. 26

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots movement that began in 1990 to raise awareness and funds for local organizations fighting hunger. What started as a student art project has grown into event held around the world, where guests share a simple mean and take home a handcrafted bowl as a reminder that hunger is an ongoing issue in every community, including Loveland.

The 2026 Empty Bowls event marks the fifth year of supporting LIFE Food Pantry in Loveland. Here are the event details:

• Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

• Two luncheon seatings: 11:00 am (SOLD OUT) and 1:00 pm.

• $25 Admission includes handcrafted pottery bowl, soup, bread, dessert, and beverage. Purchase tickets here.

  Raffle baskets feature items donated by local businesses and community partners

At this year's Empty Bowls, guests will enjoy a delicious meal donated by local restaurants and take home a unique, handcrafted pottery bowl created by a local artist. Every dollar raised helps ensure that local families have access to food and essential resources when they need them most. 100% of event proceeds directly benefit the LIFE Food Pantry - every dollar, every year.

Thanks to the generosity of local artists, potters, restaurants, businesses, community partners and supporters, Empty Bowls has raised nearly $65,000 over the past four years to help fight hunger in our community.
