Downtown Loveland is getting ready to celebrate all things GARAGE with a weeklong Garage Fest featuring local businesses, live music, trivia, food specials, activities and a major prize giveaway.
The celebration runs Sunday, August 16 through Saturday, August 22, with Garage Beer and 11 participating Loveland establishments teaming up for a passport-style tour of downtown.
Visitors can pick up a Garage Fest Passport at any participating stop and spend the week collecting stamps from all 11 locations.
Completed passports can be turned in Saturday, August 22, from 4–7:30 p.m. in the Cappy’s/Rodi/E+O parking lot.
The celebration culminates at 9 p.m. Saturday with the Big Giveaway, when three winners will each choose a garage door to open and reveal their prize. Prizes include a custom Clopay garage door valued at up to $10,000, four Club Level Cincinnati Bengals tickets, and a Tour of Loveland gift basket. Winners must be present.
But Garage Fest is about much more than completing the passport.
Throughout the week, businesses across Downtown Loveland will host special events and promotions, including live music, trivia, Singo, bottle cap bingo, koozie painting, food and drink specials, a cornhole tournament, Tattoos, Brews & Pinball, trail trivia and an interactive improv performance by the Loveland Stage Company.
Participating passport stops include Bishop’s Quarter, Cappy’s Wine and Spirits, Cindy’s Friendly Tavern, E+O, Hops and Berry Taproom, Paxton’s Grill, Ramsey’s Trailside, Rodi Italian, Rosé Boutique and Wine Bar, The Wicked Pickle and The Works Pizza Co.
Other local businesses are joining the celebration as well, with Garage Fest shirts available at Lemons and Limes Boutique and a special collection of garage-themed reads at Bike Trail Books.
Garage Fest runs August 16–22 in Downtown Loveland, with the week building toward Saturday’s festivities and grand prize giveaway.
It’s a full week designed around a simple idea: great beer, great local businesses and plenty of reasons to spend some time in Downtown Loveland.
