DaVita Loveland Nurse Receives Prestigious DAISY Award

A Loveland healthcare professional has been recognized for providing exceptional patient care.

Nickolas Faul, a nephrology nurse at DaVita Loveland Dialysis, was recently honored with the DAISY Award, an international recognition program that celebrates extraordinary nurses nominated by patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.

Faul was one of 57 DaVita Kidney Care nephrology nurses across the country to receive the award this year. The DAISY Foundation was established in 1999 by the family of Patrick Barnes as a way to thank nurses for the compassionate care he received during his illness.

Colleagues describe Faul as the “heartbeat” of the organization, praising his dedication, leadership, and commitment to patient care. Team members said his skills and contributions represent the “gold standard of performance” and serve as an example for others to follow.

Patients and coworkers alike value Faul’s respectful and compassionate approach, qualities that helped earn him this distinguished honor.

The DAISY Award continues to recognize nurses who make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families through outstanding clinical care and kindness.
