During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when schools were closed and families were spending more time at home, one Loveland student turned an unusual moment into something creative and lasting.
At the time an elementary school student, Delaney Dunlap (now a Junior at LHS) created a slideshow video exploring the history of Loveland as a personal project during quarantine. What began as a way to stay engaged and curious at home became a thoughtful and fun look at the community’s past—through the eyes of one of its youngest residents.
Now, as Loveland celebrates its 150th anniversary, Delaney’s project takes on new meaning. The video not only highlights key moments in the city’s history but also serves as a reminder of how creativity and community spirit continue to shine.
We’re excited to share Delaney's project and hope you enjoy this fun and heartfelt look at Loveland.
