Big Plans for 4th of July in Loveland

At the intersection of hometown pride and national pride is July 4th in Loveland – and no place does it better! This year is particularly auspicious, with 2026 marking the nation’s 250th birthday and Loveland’s 150th. Here are some highlights of Loveland’s July 4th celebration on Saturday:
Shuttle Service
Avoid downtown traffic and parking headaches! Free shuttle service will be available throughout the day. Two routes are offered:
· Loveland High School to Veterans Memorial
· LECC to corner of Third St. & East Loveland Ave.
2:00 pm – Food Court Opens @ City Hall Parking Lot
Featuring 10 local and regional vendors
4:00 pm – Independence Day Parade
Begins at Loveland Elementary School on Loveland Madeira Road, traveling east on Loveland Avenue through historic downtown.
This year’s theme is “Loveland Through the Decades”

4:00 pm - Hot Dog Eating Contest @ Cappy's Tap Room
6:00 – 9:00 pm – Family Games & Activities
@ Fountain Green:
Art activities, family games, giant Jenga, ring toss, Tic-Tac-Toe
@ Railroad Avenue Midway:
Caricature artists, face painting, balloon creations, inflatables, arcade games, photo booth, and more!

6:00 – 9:00 pm – Community Stage @ Railroad Avenue
6:00 – Gettysburg Address Presentation
6:05 – Adult Spelling Bee
7:00 – Lip Sync Battle
7:30 – Founding Fathers Improv
8:00 – Kids Line Dancing
8:30 – Pie Eating Contest
7:00 – 10:00 pm – Live Music by Michelle Robinson Band @ Main Stage
10:00 pm - Fireworks Spectacular
